VegeCloud Terms of Use
Last Updated: May 22, 2025
VegeCloud is a data logging, monitoring, and notification service provided by Vegetronix, Inc. By using VegeCloud, you agree to these Usage Terms.
1. Monitoring and Notifications
VegeCloud may provide email alerts, notifications, charts, sensor readings, and related monitoring tools. These features are provided as a convenience and should not be relied upon as the sole method for protecting plants, crops, property, equipment, irrigation systems, buildings, foundations, or other assets.
Notifications may be delayed, blocked, filtered into spam or junk folders, fail to send, fail to be received, or contain inaccurate or incomplete information. Users are responsible for regularly checking their own systems, sensors, irrigation equipment, and growing conditions.
2. User Responsibility
You are responsible for properly installing, configuring, maintaining, and testing your sensors, hubs, internet connections, power supplies, notification settings, and email accounts. You are also responsible for setting appropriate alert thresholds and verifying that alerts are being received.
If your email provider marks VegeCloud messages as spam, junk, abusive, or unwanted, we may block further emails to your address in order to protect the reliability of the service.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Availability
VegeCloud data may be affected by sensor error, calibration differences, installation conditions, network outages, power loss, software errors, server maintenance, third-party service interruptions, or other issues. We do not guarantee that VegeCloud will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, secure, or accurate.
4. No Professional Advice
VegeCloud readings, alerts, and recommendations are informational only. They are not professional agricultural, engineering, structural, irrigation, safety, or environmental advice. You should use your own judgment and, where appropriate, consult qualified professionals.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vegetronix, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic damages, including but not limited to crop loss, plant loss, water damage, property damage, equipment failure, lost profits, lost data, missed alerts, delayed alerts, or service outages.
Your use of VegeCloud is at your own risk. VegeCloud should not be used as the sole safeguard for any critical, high-value, safety-related, or time-sensitive application.
6. Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of VegeCloud at any time. We may also update these Usage Terms from time to time. Continued use of VegeCloud after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
